Terms of Use
Effective October 9, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Business Builders (“we”, “us”) for using Agency Backpack (“Backpack”) on the web and in the iPhone and Mac apps. By using Backpack, you agree to them. If you use Backpack for a company, you agree on behalf of that company.
What Backpack is
Backpack is software for running an agency. It is included with an Agency Builders membership. There is no separate charge for it, and we do not sell anything inside the apps. Your access depends on your organization’s membership. If that membership ends, we may limit or end access to Backpack for that organization.
Your account
- Give accurate details when you sign up, and keep your password private.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.
- Your organization’s admins can add, change and remove people in that organization.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Backpack.
Your content
You and your organization own what you put into Backpack. You give us permission to store, process and display that content only so we can run Backpack for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. Make sure you have the right to add anything you upload, including information about your clients and your team.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Break the law, or use Backpack to harm, harass or deceive anyone.
- Try to get into accounts, organizations or data that are not yours.
- Upload malware, or try to disrupt, overload or reverse engineer the service.
- Resell Backpack or give access to people outside your organization without our permission.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
AI features
Some features use AI to draft text, summarize meetings or suggest next steps. AI output can be wrong. Review it before you rely on it or send it to anyone.
Connected services
If your organization connects Google Drive, Slack, QuickBooks, Granola or Teamwork, your use of those services is also covered by their own terms. We are not responsible for those services.
Changes and availability
We work to keep Backpack running and improving, and we may add, change or remove features. We cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Ending your use
You can stop using Backpack at any time, and you can delete your account from your Profile on the web or in the iPhone app under More, then Account. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if your organization’s membership ends.
Disclaimers and limits
Backpack is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim about Backpack is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Backpack in the 12 months before the claim, or US $100.
Apple
If you got the app from the Apple App Store, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell account holders before it takes effect. Using Backpack after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.
